How to use henna dye color
Before applying henna, wash your hair thoroughly. It is good if the shampoo contains strong detergents. On the other hand, silicons, quaternium and its derivatives and film-forming substances are not recommended. Hair should be cleaned of impurities and remnants of cosmetics that could prevent the dye from binding to the hair’s keratin. If you have hard water and the shampoo with which you washed your hair before applying the mixture did not contain Tetrasodium EDTA or Disodium EDTA, you can additionally chelate your hair with a self-made chelating mask, which will remove mineral deposits built up on the hair (they reduce the durability of the effects of henning) . The easiest solution is to stock up on EDTA shampoo (for henning).
